The Grievance Handling Officer will be responsible for receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints, disputes, and grievances raised by candidates, deployed workers, or clients. The primary goal is to ensure fair, transparent, and timely resolution of issues in compliance with company policies and labor laws, thereby maintaining organizational integrity and high satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, outsourced staff, and clients regarding any disputes, complaints, or workplace issues.
- Log, categorize, and track all incoming grievances systematically to ensure no issue is left unaddressed.
- Conduct unbiased, thorough, and confidential investigations into reported incidents (e.g., wage disputes, workplace harassment, breach of contract, or poor working conditions).
- Ensure all grievance resolutions align with national labor laws, employment standards, and company policies.
- Maintain confidential documentation of all case files, evidence, and final resolution reports.
- Provide counseling and guidance to workers/candidates regarding their rights, responsibilities, and the grievance process.
- Coordinate closely with client HR teams to resolve issues concerning deployed/outsourced manpower at client sites.
- Maintain open communication with management, providing regular updates on critical or escalating cases.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or certification in Conflict Management/Labor Law is a plus).
- Experience: 0-2 years of proven experience in HR, employee relations, grievance handling, or a legal/compliance role, preferably within a manpower agency, staffing firm, or outsourcing company.
Freshers with problem-solving and conflict-tackling abilities are highly encouraged.
