Position: Offshore Counsellor (Australia)

Job Location: Dillibazar-30 Pipal Bot, Kathmandu
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to students interested in studying in Australia, UK, USA, and Canada, helping them select the right universities, courses, and programs based on their academic and career goals.
- Assist students with visa applications for each country, ensuring that all documentation and deadlines are met.
- Guide students through scholarship opportunities and other financial aid options available for studying in these countries.
- Conduct online consultations via video calls, emails, and other remote communication tools to support students throughout the application and decision-making process.
- Stay up-to-date with the education systems and policies of Australia, the UK, the USA, and Canada, including changes in visa regulations, university rankings, and new scholarship opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders in these countries to stay informed and provide accurate, relevant advice to students.
- Provide pre-departure guidance to students, including cultural orientation, accommodation options, and travel information.
- Assist students in completing their application forms, preparing supporting documents like Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LOR), and other application materials.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in education consultancy, student counseling, or related fields, with specific experience in advising students about studying in Australia, UK,USA, Canada.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Australian, Canadian, UK, USA education system, universities, visa processes, and scholarship options.
- Ability to handle complex inquiries and guide students effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus, especially for offshore counsellors).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
