🚀 Job Summary
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and results-driven IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our software development projects. In this role, you will be the driving force that keeps our technical teams aligned, on schedule, and within budget. You will manage the project scope, mitigate risks, and maintain clear lines of communication between cross-functional engineering teams and external clients or stakeholders.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements. Create detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines to guide execution.
- Agile Delivery Management: Facilitate and lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to remove blockers for developers.
- Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate engineering, design, and QA resources effectively across multiple active project streams to prevent burnout and maximize velocity.
- Stakeholder & Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates. Manage client expectations, deliver status reports, and handle change requests smoothly.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, technical bottlenecks, or scope creep, and implement effective mitigation strategies before they impact delivery timelines.
- Quality & Documentation: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and that project documentation (timelines, architecture references, deployment logs) is kept clean and up to date.
🎯 Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials are a major advantage.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of proven experience managing IT projects, software development lifecycles (SDLC), or digital transformation initiatives.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, and knowing when to apply them.
- Tools of the Trade: High proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Asana, or MS Project.
- Communication: Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills in English (and local languages as required to manage local teams).
