Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing and sales efforts. Unlike a traditional desk-bound executive role, you will be the face of our company in the field. You will be responsible for driving adoption of our school management applications by leading a sales team, personally closing high-value deals, and building direct relationships with School Principals and Administrators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Support: Mentoring and managing the sales team to ensure they meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  • High-Stakes Closing: Stepping in to lead presentations and finalize contracts with key institutional clients.
  • Field Engagement: Traveling to various schools to conduct live demonstrations of our IT solutions to Principals and School Boards.
  • Strategic Marketing: Developing localized marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness within the education sector.
  • Market Intelligence: Gathering feedback from school administrators to help our product team improve our app features.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Requirement Specification
Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development (EdTech experience is a plus).
Mobility Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a personal vehicle for daily

visits.

Communication Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; ability to speak the language of educators and administrators.
Leadership Proven ability to motivate a team and handle the pressure of sales targets.
Technical Savvy A solid understanding of mobile apps and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products.
